Fix Minecraft Server Connection Errors

Troubleshoot Unknown Host, timeouts, edition mismatches and outdated client messages.

Match the message you see

Unknown Host

Retype unstablesmp-events.com, remove spaces and https://, and check your internet connection. The hostname must have valid game-server DNS records.

Connection timed out

The server may be offline or unreachable. Check announcements, retry later, and see whether you can connect to another server.

Outdated client or server

Your game version may not match. Check the server’s supported version before changing your launcher profile.

Unable to connect on Bedrock

Confirm Bedrock support, the exact port, and your device’s custom server options. Java and Bedrock connection details are not interchangeable.

Authentication problem

Restart your game and sign in through the official launcher. Never send passwords, login codes, or session tokens to anyone offering a fix.
